Creating type specimen poster for one of the fonts that I hate.

Mine was Papyrus, the font that most of the graphic designers

hate because it is overused and misused countless times. I just

wanted to show Papyrus is still a fun font to use with this poster.

I ended up like this. You cant really see it in these photos

but I also wore this huge wig of elvis' hair that made me look

taller. haha there are more photos to upload but i am too lazy

to do them.

Well. Those photos are not really taken with polaroid camera

but I just edit them to make them look like photos from polaroid

camera. God damn it i really want polaroid camera!!!!!

Halloween

A day before halloween, I was suppose to go some parties today

but my friend got sick so I could not go. However, my lovely friend

Kate came over to my place and we went to Halloween costume

shopping. There were so many people, we had to actually wait to

get inside of the store. But thank god we both found our favorite

items and we did some photo shoot when we got back to my

apartment. It was so fun!! Can't wait for tomorrow!!

Self Portrait Trailer

I have designed a ten seconds video clip of myself

for my motion graphic class just to make people to get

an idea of what i am going to do. It is going to be twenty

to thirty seconds video in the end, and it will be executed

so much better than this! and different music..

Designing a logo for a city that my instructor assigned me.

Mine was Mumbai and this is what I did so far.

I designed a logo for Juan's company. In the beginning I did not

know what to do, so I just started to do stuff that i saw from

Monica's facebook. (Thank you Monica!) And this is my result!

Another One

Did another one because I got little bit more time before the

class. Ahhhhhh I do not know which one to choose and take

it to the next level. 

Revised Bye Bye Birdie

Revised version of Bye Bye Birdie musical poster. Apparently

my instructor Gale anderson does not like her students using

illustrator so I just used photoshop for this revised version.

Well, there is nothing in common if you compare this version 

to the last version, but i would still like to call that I revised it!

Wrong Way

Ok So this was the new project that i have to do for my 

typography class. The objective of this poster was to make

the poster extremely decorative, so that people will not

be able to figure out what is talking about. It sounded 

really interesting and easy, but it took me a while to find

a solution on my own. To be honest, i am still not sure if

this poster is working in that way for viewers. Whatever!

it is six in the morning and I am not going to fix it! haha

Bye Bye Birdie

I know it has been a while since the last post. I just stop posting stuffs

because I thought no one would care and more importantly, I got really

lazy haha. Hope you guys understand me, if you cared about this blog.

So this is my new assignment which I have to design a poster for a 

new broadway musical, Bye Bye Birdie. They are couple more and 

they are all in their process, so do not judge me yet! These are just 

rough sketches that I had to show to my instructor this week!

Self Camera

I got bored again so I decided to take some photos of myself.

And then I edited ALOT. I like the top one better I think I can

develop the second one in more artistic way. I will figure 

the way out eventually. 

Celebration

Madonna's new single- Celebration. I am deeply in love with her new

single right now. I have been listening to this song since last 

thursday. And I already listened it almost a hundred times. 

Damn she is so good!

Dyed My Hair

I went to Monica's place to get ready to go a club, but I arrived there 

super early. So I decided to dye my hair in black again since my hair 

was getting closer to brownish black again. Well.. Of course I couldnt

dye it by myself so my dearly friend Monica did it for me and Sunny 

took a photo of me during the process. The color came out pretty 

nice. However it seems like my friends dont recognize a huge 

difference. ugh

 

 

On My Bed

I have always wanted to take a photo of myself on my bed, but 

never really did it because something always happened. Well,

I got a chance to do it this time and I did it! ha!

New Frames

I got a new glasses at Fabulous Fanny's which is on 9th street

and first avenue. I always wanted another pair of vintage looking

glasses after I lost the earlier one in the club. However, finally

I found a pair that I like and I got it! 

Shoes

Shoes that I have been willing to get within this year.

I need money I need money!! Aren't they gorgeous!
